I have a question . Does it mean anytime you eat bread or drink wine it's the blood and body of Christ or there's a reason why during receiving it in church it becomes the true blood and body of Christ and not just bread and wine ? I thnk i have chosen the orthodox church as my church i was not baptized and have atheist parents and family .Came to Christ from atheism, conspiracy theories and agnosticism finally to accepting Jesus and after 7 years i got the orthodox study Bible and doing research that led me to this channel and video btw im a Croatian .

I love learning more about the Orthodox Church and its deference’s from Western Catholic and Christian beliefs. I see it all as a piece of a far greater puzzle we all put together.

I fall under the half-Catholic and Love Hunter categories. I go to Divine Liturgies but my parents want me to stay Catholic. I also come to orthodox churches to also look for women but I haven’t gotten a love partner. Would you consider becoming Orthodox to stick it to your family a bad reason?

Hey. I am a student, who has become very interested in Christianity and spesifically orthodoxy because of its historical and "mythological" heritage. I don't see anything untrue within this faith and see it as a serious possibility that I would accept it in the future. I however have one problem with the church. I am fairly sure that I am bisexual, would this orientation be considered wrong or otherwise sinful?

May someone explain? Can we burn off sins of other people? How does praying for people in hell work?

SO JESUS SAYS HE IS THE ONLY WAY? And only believing and following him brings you salvation? Then why is he only appearing to a very small amount of people, 295k years after we humans evolved in evolution. He acted in a small area while all the Earth was already full of humans. Billions and billions of people never even had the chance to know him. And after he died, this religion spread mainly over brutal military power in North Europe, in America , in parts of Asia and in Australia. Till today 2/3 of humans do not follow that religion, not because they are bad, but because they are socialized in other religions and convictions. A very bad strategy of a guy that offers the ONLY way and also a very unsuccessful way. Doesnt sound like the strategy of a god that created all universe and billions of galaxies with billions of solar systems in it. It sounds rather like a man-made invented local religion that made it to spread and needs several justifications.

Theodore, and never once in my pre-Orthodox life did i even consider asking any of them to pray for me. Just pictured them kinda standing around and watching/ observing... What a loss. What a WASTE of the access i had and didn't know. One would THINK that the teaching that we have a Great Cloud (that in itself is wonderful to contemplate: a GREAT cloud, which ST. PAUL WROTE ABOUT in the early days of the Church) would be more GOOD NEWS!, to go along with the other aspects if the Good News.. But the reluctance is mind-boggling to me now.. I wanted to understand the teachings but i never thought of such resistance.. In some ways it really ROCKS their world and threatens them.. Makes the situation MUCH bigger than just 'Jesus and me'..
